The underwater world of Tenerife is a universe in itself for diving enthusiasts. In the crystal clear water you will find breathtaking volcanic rock formations, colorful aquatic  plants and remarkable species of the Atlantic Ocean is rich thanks to the cold Canary current. The visibility is usually 30 + meters. You come face to face with rays, urtles, barracuda and moray eels. Night diving is also offered for more adventure and excitement!

El Meridan

There is an old game at around 30 meters depth. This is intentionally been depressed in 2005  as a new dive site to serve in the sand next to a rocky reef. It is expected that over time, a beauty to fauna will be created around this wreck. There are already many regular fish and spotted rays. Because the square dive profile and depth of this dive, it is very suitable for experienced divers to dive with NITROX.  With air time the soil is only 20 minutes and 32 NITROX you bottom time 30 minutes.

El Balito

Is a very unusual place to dive. The bizarre rock formations and caves make this a very beautiful dive. Even BBC TV series have recorded: ''Walking With Monsters''. Life is hidden in the middle of shadow and gigantic rocks and crevices of lava. It is so dark a dive light is recommended at this dive.Sea anemones in different colors live in harmony with the Lady Scarlet shrimp. The numerous caves attract thousands of shrimp, crabs and lobsters to.   If you descend to a depth of 28 meters, there is a strong chance that you Stingray encounters. The best moment of this experience when you dive  through a tunnel of 6 meters long dive, you can then to top off and it is like you is a big jacuzzi with light and bubbles!

Marazul.

This dive is a quiet and easy dive noon. A multilevel dive along cliffs in a range of 12 to 20 meters depth. There is much variety of underwater life to see as large schools Roncadores, Barracuda's, anemones, trumpet fish floating along rays. The safety stop can be made on the rocks at a depth of 6 meters here  everything is still to see Moray, cuttle fish and octopus.

Playa Paraiso

One of the favorite dive spots! You make a tour around the gorges, then see how well the impressive underwater life! Schools of barracuda and bream circle around us and there is always parrot fish, cuttle fish trumpeter, morays, glass eyes and much more to see. This is the best place to close a big giant of 2 meters atlantic ray it. This is a curious but friendly giant what your passes. There are occasionally other types of rays can be seen as eagle rays, butterfly rays, sting rays, and in the winter are often angel sharks to be seen. Remember, do not arrive!

El Puertito

This is a perfect location for students, but not to forget that you can make very nice dive even in shallow water. This dive site is very suitable for beautiful underwater photographs.Here is enough to see marine life such as turtles, butterfly rays, bull rays, octopus, cuttle fish and more fish!

 La Caleta

A series of rocks above the water. These rocks are under water in a wall 10 meters high. The flow can here make great drift diving. Sometimes the flow is such that thefins do not have to use you, you can uietly slip through the water at your convenience and enjoyment of the underwater life. Halfway through the dive, you often have a large school of Roncadores against, and the large overhang of the rocks you'll often dormant Stingray.

Pecios Gemelos.

2 wrecks near the port of Puerto Colon. These wrecks they sink deep boat for trips to what is now no longer used. Now it is renamed to an ideal diving spot. For an experienced diver, this is a very easy dive. The wrecks are a cruiser of 12 meters and a yacht of about 15 meters. There is enough marine life to see as roncadores large schools. The wreck is home to the Scorpion fish, Morays, spider crabs and many more interesting creatures. This is a nice spot for pictures.

Las Vistas.

A quiet dive site, ideal for training or refresher''''perfect for diving and night diving. This diving site is the''Kindergarten "for fish, they are in many species: roncadores, Sea Bream, damsel fish, Lizard fish, puffer fish, and if you're lucky to get young angel shark, rays, cuttle fish and octopus against, it's all possible!

Roncadores Palm Mar

A great dive site, because this is always something new to see. from the cliff 14 meters at our convenience we drop down to 25 meters to the sandy soil, and then continue along the canyon go. During the trip, the largest schools roncadores along that you've ever seen, so do not forget your camera along. If you look upwards, you can often see barracuda circling around. Also have your big chance that you still see Stingray. During the winter you see more angel-sharks to about 2 meters long, in the sand are waiting for their prey.

Cueva de Palm Mar

This is a real highlight for the experienced diver! Here you have all the ingredients for a perfect dive very good vision, great caves, deep diving operations, and many wild predators looking!   Descend to the entrance of the cave at 30 meters. On this route, visit different dark crevices filled with morayeels in various species:  the elegant beautiful Mediterranean Moray, the impressive ugly brown Moray and the fascinating but savage looking more Moray.  Get to the end of the dive count your fingers! Despite the fear of these  creatures are curious but friendly creatures ... treat them with respect!   The cave itself is Tenerife's biggest mystery, nobody knows how deep the tunnel through, and where it leads in the volcano. Several divers have their lives by entering of the gangenstelsel in the cave. Outside the cave is a memorial cross. With this in mind it is prudent that we cave a few meters, entry and then go, to come to an exceptionally nice deep part what brings you to 40 meters, surrounded by large rock pincles and garden hedgehogs.

Cueva de Neptuno.

This dive is very unusual times, the cave itself is safe to enter and explore. It is really incredibly beautiful. Here lives the''red eye''glass, you also see also Moray EELS and resting Stingray. After the visit of the cave leaves you with the tide along the surrounding canyons. In the winter months, this is the best place to see  angel-sharks! Sometimes they lie in the sand to sleep, but often they swim around. The direction of the flow is different each time, often you will be brought to the deep, So a good Buoyancy and skills are desirable. A marker buoy is not superfluous. you can often largest rays seen in this dive. This diving is all year around always much to see.

Montana Guaza.

This is an ideal dive site when the weather is bad. There is always something new to see. If the weather is very bad, one can still  always make diving, it is sheltered accounts. There are dive sites better than this, but you'll find many different fish as well. There is plenty to see! On 24 meters there roncadores and you have a good chance to see rays. This is the only place where you can dive under water dolphins can come from this hunt on the fish that swim around.

El Condesito.

A true classic dive! This is certainly one of the two busiest''''dive sites of Tenerife.  El Condesito was a boat that was transporting cement. In 1970, in the south of Tenerife, is the helmsman on the power steering is lost and the fallen rocks, with the result that he is sunk. This is an easy dive for beginners but a great dive for experienced divers. The wreck has a length of about 30 meters. For the experienced diver: here you can also make a free descent to 30 meters and a visit to the vulcanized ones canyons. Here we also find Tenerife's famous black coral.

Los Canones.

This is a dive for experienced divers, the conditions may be extreme but real highlight.  The flow can be very time sensitive! From 25 meters we descend to 30 meters. Here is a decline to 70 meters. Whether you fall down along the wall to 40 meters either you keep along the ridge on 30 meters. Look down, you will see a great abyss! Everything is large and impressive ... You see this huge and impressive vulcanized ones canyons, and huge groups of barracuda. The flow's too tough.

Roncadores del Faro.

A very pleasant dive site to the most Southern tip of Tenerife in the El Faro lighthouse''  Here you swim through stunning columns and small caves.  Regularly see you here Bream zebra, parrot fish, cuttle fish, barracuda, trumpet fish, octopuses and obviously a large school of roncadores.  For the experienced diver, there is half route, the descent along the canyons to the BLACK CORAL to 30-40 meters.

El Aquario.

With experience, there is another Tenerife classic, better known as' 'The Rays Stingray City'' Here is a small wreck, been depressed into the sand next to a rocky reef where the Stingray regularly hand-fed.  This is a nice fun dive where you guaranteed Stingray encounters. It is nice to see how the butterfly and atlantic rays come float. All of you from the reef to the wreck is, there is a great opportunity to  Moray urchins and various other interesting marine life to see.   wannadivingtenerife
